Cleveland Clinic Tier 1 Weight Management Programs
are services that are offered through Cleveland Clinic and the Regional hospitals. These programs have a schedule of classes with an agenda for each class. They are offered at different times and different locations through the year and some require a minimum number of participants for the program to take place. eCoaching Weight Management Program
A 180-day program designed to help participants lose weight and reduce waist size to improve health and vitality while eliminating hidden health risks. The program involves interactive email exchanges between the participant and the health coach they are paired with for the duration of the 6-month program.
Eat Well Group Weight Management Program
Eat Well is a group weight management program for EHP members with a BMI of 30 or above who are NOT participating in other weight management programs. Participants meet weekly for 10 weeks and also have a one on one session with a dietitian to address individual needs. The program focus includes nutrition education, mindful eating and healthy lifestyle (stress management, sleep habits and physical activity). Groups are available at a variety of Cleveland Clinic locations on various days and times. Early morning, evening and lunch hour classes are available depending on location. Questions? Protein Sparing Modified Fast (PSMF) Diet Program
The Protein Sparing Modified Fast (PSMF) is designed for rapid weight loss and
incorporates medical, nutritional, and behavioral components. The goal of this
diet is to reach an appropriate body weight as determined by your physician and
Be Well Kids Clinic
Be Well Kids Clinic works with children (ages 2 to 20) and their families to develop strategies and create plans for a healthy lifestyle change. The EHP is offering a $100 incentive to participants in the Be Well Kids Clinic that meet the following requirements the first year enrolled. (start date is first completed PCP visit):
Fit Youth Programs
- Completion of a Primary Care Provider (PCP) visit, which will include a physical
- Completion of five Be Well Kids Clinic visits
- Maintenance of BMI Z score from the initial PCP visit to the completion of the fifth visit in the Be Well Kids Clinic
- Requirements for subsequent years will be conducted with your physician or primary care provider
This program is for children ages 7-16 who are serious about wanting to lose weight. Specifically designed for children and their parents, the group meets once a week for 90 minutes and lasts for 12 weeks. Group leaders include a psychologist, dietitian and exercise physiologist. In addition to helping your child lose weight, the program will guide him or her in developing new eating and exercise habits and help the whole family learn how to change the things at home adversely affecting eating and exercise habits.
Weight No Longer program at Wooster Family Health Center
Cleveland Clinic Wooster “Weight” No Longer program is a practical, scientifically
based weight loss and weight management program designed to teach effective,
safe, and reasonable weight loss strategies through behavior change and
lifestyle modification. The 18-week program consists of weekly group sessions
that will alternate between an educational presentation on a relevant weight loss topic.
Weight Management Guidelines
The EHP Wellness Program will pay for the Tier 1 Weight Management Program for EHP members only. If you are interested in participating in a Tier 1 Weight Management program, you must complete the EHP Wellness Program Weight Management Application
when you enroll in a program. You must provide the name of the program and location in order for the EHP to make payment arrangements for you.

* Applications are due within 10 days from the time you sign up for the program. Failure to complete the program application will result in non-payment of the program and financial responsibility will become the member's.
